This routine outcome, where Starship tips over and explodes post-splashdown, is expected and does not indicate any issues with the test.

SpaceX's ultimate goal is to return both the booster and spacecraft to the launch site using a robotic "chopstick" arm. While this has been successful for the booster, catching a returning spacecraft remains a challenge. Despite these technical hurdles, SpaceX is confident that Version 3 of Starship is the key to achieving its vision of making humanity a multiplanetary species, unlocking the potential for orbit, long-duration stays, and interplanetary travel.
